Our Environmental Commitment
At Print Connect Australia we are very mindful of our carbon footprint on the environment. We make a conscious effort to reduce our environmental impact, By Recycling and partnering with our suppliers to use environmentally sustainable products.
Where possible we utilise sustainable forest-managed products that are elemental and chlorine-free in manufacture, carbon neutral, or have recycled content, so that you can be assured that through your business dealing with us, our impact on the environment is being reduced when possible.
We are committed to practicing environmentally sustainable work methods. We recycle paper waste where possible and use soy-based inks in printing, and we have installed equipment that is less power-intensive to run. Our large format printers use an aqueous-based latex ink which is environmentally friendly than the solvent inks used by many in our industry. If you are concerned about the environment, help us help you provide an eco-friendly option for your next printing or signage job.
We also have heavily invested in solar capable of reducing our need to draw power from the grid by up to 60%. Installing a bank of 94 panels not only generates power but also assists temperature control by covering a substantial part of the roof from the sun, hence reducing our power usage to maintain a temperature-controlled environment.
